Chicken genome editing technology and its application to the food industry

Genome editing technology can be used to extensively modify genetic information in DNA, and such applications are expected widely applied the fields of medicine agriculture. In chickens, genome primordial germ cells has made it possible create genome-edited which may lead improvements breeds that have been difficult achieve using conventional breeding methods. The development products derived from chickens for market should approached with caution, identification problems consumer acceptance carefully considered.
